FAQ How long do you host my files? Your files will never be deleted if somebody is downloading them. We delete inactive files after about 30 days. Why is your service free of charge? We are fully financed by advertising revenue; the use is for free. Which file formats are allowed? Generally all file extensions are accepted. It doesn’t matter if you want to upload a document, a song, an image are an archive. How many files can I upload? There is no limit for the number of uploaded files; you can use our service as often as you want. All uploads are of course for free, it doesn’t matter how many files you have already saved at SharePlace.com What is the maximum allowed size for uploaded files? 250MB. Files with a larger filesize than the allowed maximum will be rejected. Can I resume broken downloads? Yes, with download-accelerators. Those programs support resume of broken files and even segmented downloads. This means, you can download the same file with many streams, resulting in higher download-speed. Can I delete my uploaded files? Sure you can! After your upload, you will get two links. The download-link, which you give to everyone you want, and a delete-link, which you keep for yourself.
